NYX Eye Shadow Base in Skin Tone Review

Hello ladies... Today I'm gonna review this tiny little jar called NYX Eye Shadow Base. NYX has become one of my favorite brand cause they have a lot of good and pigmented products with an affordable price. Likewise this eyeshadow base, I directly like it since I tried my first jar. I got it in Skin Tone. At the glance it looks like a concealer cause it has a beige color like a color of a skin. I'd say it is a little thing with a big action. Well, maybe its not as famous or powerfull as UDPP, but NYX prove that their eye shadow base has a big power to brightened up your eyeshadow color.
NYX Eye Shadow Base is aimed to maximize the intensity, longevity and unashamed brilliance of your eye shadow statements with those eye shadow primer pots. Each of the three NYX Eye Shadow Bases, for vibrant, pearl or neutral tones, creates a smooth canvas for color, increases its durability and prevents fallout.
The Skin Tone base would perfectly works with a range of neutral eyeshadow color. Since it has a natural beige color, the neutral and warm eyeshadow color would look vibrant and sharp onto it, and even for smokey eyes look.
The packaging is a plastic tiny jar with a screw cap. It looks clean and elegant since it has a white cap and transparant jar which show up the product inside. Though the packaging is plastic, but it looks neat and sturdy so it doesn't feel two bit at all.
The texture looks quite thick at the jar, but when you swipe it onto your eyelid, you feel it very creamy and smoothy. The warmth of our finger will make it melting and easy to blend. Once it blended, it become transparant and looks like our second skin without feeling greasy at all. You just need a small amount to covering your eyelid, a little goes a long way. I used it for almost one year and I have not empty one third of it yet. What I like about this eyeshadow base is that it has no weird stink, it contain no fragrance. The stay power of this product is quite amazing, with a sufficient use will make your eyeshadow still in their place for almost 12-18 hours without creasing.

As you can see, the color of product itself is very natural like a skin, and will match with any other complexion. In the photo above, it looks has a pink undertone, but you should have no worry because it will blend perfectly into a transparant matte finish.

Like I suggested, this Skin Tone eyeshadow base will match perfectly with the warm color like brown, mildew green, and all colors from the neutral derivatives.
